for those who might listen@ work on crappy speakers and then download based on this--don't bother with this one. band sounds ok but this recording shows ye olde ravages of time. drop outs/poor dynamics in general. just fatigues the ear.

Wow, from the first notes know the Cassidy thrills and the recording captures the essence of the live dead phenomena.
Superlatives must have abounded at the Cali shows. Too bad in my 38 I saw none there. Blessed to have turned on!

Everything 'cane said is true. The Althea is one of my favorites. I've been looking for one as good for a while now. Jerry puts in that extra effort on several songs. And I usually skip over Throwin->NFA, but he's right again, this one rocks.
And China->Rider??? I'm getting of sick of the reviews that mention some particular china rider being the BEST of the decade or the year or whatever. But let me tell you, I think this ones the best of at least August '83. I haven't listened to both AUD's here, but the one I've had for a couple years is probably one of these and it has a wonderful sound with plenty of bass.
REVISED - the other copy of this show is better

Frost '83 maybe not be as coveted as Frost '82, but this show is played very well...
nice Cassidy>Dire Wolf opener, as well as solid versions of Rooster and Althea...
China Cat>Rider is SMOKIN', with a very up-tempo China Cat, and a slick transition into Rider...Playin' has some great jamming, and the last few minutes of Space through the Wheel are awesome...
T. Stones>NFA may be a traditional ending for this era, but this combo rocks tonight!
Very nice AUD, very nice show
